INTRODUCTION

The Admission Process is a matter of significance as it is vital to the reputation of the college. Selecting the right students and giving equal opportunities to all without any discrimination are the two main objectives of this committee. A separate committee is formed at the end of every academic year to look after the admission of the students for the subsequent year.

OBJECTIVES

Prepare guidelines for effective and efficient Online Admission procedures in a transparent manner based on KU Admission Rules and Government o time.

• Maintain admission strictly on a merit basis and follow the reservation rules.
• Ensure filling up seats according to the merit list and intake capacity.
• Supply admission-related information to the Govt and KU as per their requirements.
• Update subjects/subject combinations, feestructure, admission procedures etc. and revise and update the college prospectus.
• Formulate cancellation and refund policy and its effective implementation.
• Upload admission-related information on the college websites.
• Held at least two meetings (1. before the declaration of HS results (for policy formulation) and 2. after the completion of admission (for evaluation of the performance of the committee).
