GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• The admission process starts immediately after the declaration of the Board results of class XII. Admission to UG courses is strictly merit based. Follow college website for any latest update/notification regarding admission.
• The Registration of a student is valid for 5 years from the academic year in which the registration is granted.
• Subject combinations of 1st semester may be changed (if necessary) within the stipulated time as declared by the University of Kalyani.
• A minimum of 75% attendance is required in all the papers as opted by a student –– Honours / Programme/ Major / Minor. Attendance in both Theory and Practical/ Tutorial classes is necessary for appearing in the semester-end-examinations. In case of a medical illness or involvement in extra-curricular activities, attendance below 75% but above 50% may be considered for appearing in the end term examination subject to the submission of valid documents and its approval by the College and University authority.
• Students must strictly maintain punctuality during classes and examinations.
• Use of Cell Phone during class hours is punishable.
• Making short videos, reels etc. within the College is subject to disciplinary measures.
• No outdoor games, even in small groups, are permissible during class hours.
• Decent dressing and behaviour must be observed. Students must bear in mind their accountability to the Principal/Teacher-In-Charge for any misconduct in College.

• Students must show their Identity Card at the gate when entering the college and wearing it is compulsory when in college. Exchange or lending of one's identity card is a serious offence.
• Notice Board, College website and College face book page is to be followed regularly for any latest update.
• Parents/ Guardians are earnestly requested to attend the Parent-Teacher Meeting as and when scheduled by the Principal’s/TIC’s discretion for an interface with the Faculties and Administration.
• Any kind of violent conduct is strictly prohibited in the college.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college.
• Any kind of damage to any college property is punishable.
• College Computer System should not be tampered with in any way.
• The entire college as a "No Smoking Zone" must be heeded to.
• Use of drugs/alcohol is strictly prohibited in the College.
• Bringing guests/friends from outside to the college is strictly prohibited.
• Access to the Girls' Common Room is strictly reserved for the girl students.
• No poster is allowed anywhere on the College walls. Defacement of college walls is subject to disciplinary actions.
• Spitting in the college campus is strictly prohibited.
