Eco-Management and Campus Beautification Sub-Committee

INTRODUCTION

Like all other sub-committees, this sub-committee has to Observe Assess, and Report (OAR) regarding the campus development cleanliness, and beautification. According to our father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, "Cleanliness is next to godliness". The main jurisdiction of this subcommittee is to assess the process of cleanliness and beautification of the college campus.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this committee are as follows-

• To monitor the process of keeping the classroom, corridors, staff rooms toilets, and surrounding areas clean and to promote good hygiene amongst student teachers as well as non-teaching staff.
• Continuous observation to keep the college building and furniture in the best of form for normal use and keep ensure the use of the college building as the shelter in an emergency caused by natural hazards events or the time of elections and other purposes
• To impart knowledge, create awareness and develop an attitude of concern and nurture necessary skills to handle environmental issues and challenges with the help of faculties students, and non-teaching staff.
• To keep our surroundings clean and beautiful to prevent communicable diseases and to reduce the spread of sickness and illness maintaining a clean college environment.
• To promote hygiene on campus and to improve hygiene levelson the campus.
• To promote a healthier lifestyle to enhance the quality of life and improve productivity and also to sustain healthy mental health which is very important in the new normal after COVID world
• To create a good impression for visitors and to set good examples for students. It can improve the self-image of our college and its neverhood as a whole.
• Clean and beautiful environment is most important for physical, mental, and moral well-being and a healthy environment in the institution. It makes life healthier, less stressful, and more pleasant. So this subcommittee promotesmaintaining the college campus active, less stressful, and productive lifestyle.
• Try to ensure that all the productive forces of the college operate 100% efficiently at all times.
• To promote character education.
• Last but not least is to hold meeting regularly and report measures and recommendations to authority for further action
