INTRODUCTION
In comparison to primary and secondary education, the role of the library in higher education is much more important since the library is considered a prime requirement in college and university education. The entire academic and research process is fully dependent on the library network. With the advancement of digital technologies, the role of the library and librarian in higher education has been widely expanded since a variety of challenges have emerged.
OBJECTIVES
- To identify, acquire, organize, preserve, and provide access to pertinent recorded knowledge to all users engaged in academic and research activities in this college.
- To offer formal and informal instruction to promote information literacy.
- To create a forward-thinking, dynamic organization that is responsive and flexible to achieve its goals and objectives.
- To continue to improve the library's effectiveness through systematic, ongoing outcome assessment.
