Career Counseling, Skill Development & Placement Cell

INTRODUCTION

One of the policy decisions in the UGC XIth Plan provides for establishing a Career and Counseling Cell in Universities and colleges. The objective is to support the students in the development of soft skills and communication ability to challenge the rigors of competitive tests and on-job-training in add-on or vocational courses

OBJECTIVES

In view of the above, the Career and Counseling Cell of Chakdaha College is also established. The Career Counseling Cell of Chakdaha College started with the objective to set up educational counseling services offered for the undergraduate students of Chakdaha College to help the students redefine their passion in their careers, develop essential employability skills and strategies, and understand different competitive examination related to job opportunities in the current job market or opportunities scenario. The Career and Counseling Cell of Chakdaha College is working rigorouslythroughout the year keeping in mind the above-mentioned objectives.
