INTRODUCTION

We,on behalf of Women Cell of Chakdaha College, believe that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful,prosperous, and sustainable society.

On this note, we have set objectives which if implemented properly will ensure the allround development of our female students.

OBJECTIVES / ACTIVITIES

The major concern of women is malnutrition leading to poor health. For this, we arrange a consultation with specialist doctors to overcome this issue. Female hygiene is another aspect that is taken care of by organizing camps from the local government hospital.

Career counselling is another activity which we will organize for placement and guidance.

As a measure of self-defense karate training is undertaken for female students.

For improvement of mental and physical health,we arrange yoga training in our college.

To be at par with the changing world,we ensure computer training to make students ready for their workplace in the future.

We are committed to making our female students self-reliant and believing in themselves when they compete in this discriminating society.
