National Cadet Corps (NCC) :
The main aims of NCC are to develop solidarity, discipline, secular attitude, spirit of adventure and principles of selfless service amongst young citizens. Moreover, it targets for creating a group of structured, skilled and inspired youth with leadership talents in all steps of life, who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces. The NCC unit of the college, runs under the vigilant supervision of Lt. Dr. Paritosh Biswas. Almost every year cadets are selected for the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi. Many cadets excel their performance in State and National levels in a regular way. Enrolment in this unit is completed usually by the month of July.

Ms. Rakhija Khatun, NCC cadet of Chakdaha College, has been awarded Governor’s Medal and DG Commendation for best NCC cadet and also represented her NCC directorate in Annual NCC Republic Day Camp held at New Delhi in 2023.
