National Service Scheme (NSS) :
The National Service Scheme (NSS) was started its journey a long ago since 1974 to establish a significant connection between the campus and the community. The main objective of NSS is “Education and Personality Development of the Students through Service to Community”.
The tireless involvement of our NSS volunteers in different activities like tree plantation, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, health camp, different awareness programmes, distribution of relief and food items to distressed people etc. It is extending its activities in the society regularly and continuously since its inception. Our unit also organizes 'Special Camp' in various places. With an intake of 100 students, the Programme Officer Prof. Goutam Dey with active support of Dr. Swagata Das Mohanta, Principal, Chakdaha College and all other Teaching and Non-teaching staff, has made each and every programme successful.
